Software Engineer, Brand Security & Protection (SEA)
LOCATION: the Rubicon Project in Seattle
Responsibilities:
- Develop new features for our automated malware-detection system
- Extend and tune existing capabilities to constantly improve quality, performance, and maintainability
- Work closely with other developers, user-interface designers, product managers, and QA to deliver a polished, professional product that delights customers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, or a technical field
- 3+ years of professional development experience
- Demonstrated experience delivering software-as-a-service applications
- Strong Perl skills including ability to write maintainable, object-oriented code
- Solid SQL and database knowledge
- Experience with distributed systems and concurrency management is a plus
- Knowledge of common networking and Web protocols and related technologies (TCP/IP, HTTP, JavaScript, characteristics of ReSTful APIs) is a plus
- Familiarity with computer security and malware analysis is a plus
